The Advisors Asset Management Information Security Analyst designs, implements, monitors, and evaluates the security systems that protect the company information systems and data. This position helps ensure the stability and integrity of in-house network communications and includes data, voice and wireless network services. Location:

Responsibilities:
Perform regular internal network vulnerability scans (Qualys) and coordinate annual 3rd party external network penetration tests. Analyze and report results. Determine and implement appropriate corrective measures as necessary Manage the security information and event management (SIEM) system (Alienvault) Manage the data security and insider threat platform (Varonis) Manage the patch management systems for workstations and servers (ManageEngine, InTune), networking equipment, mobile devices, and other applicable information technology devices Manage network intrusion detection systems (AlienVault, AMP) Proficiency with IT security forensic tools Manage the security incident response system Manage the IT portions of all vendor, client, and service provider due diligence questionnaires (DDQs) Manage the employee Security Awareness Training and email phishing test platform (KnowB4) Participate in the ongoing personnel and disaster recovery and business continuity projects (DR/BCP) Be an active member of the company Cybersecurity Committee. Author periodic IT security user training and best practices documents for distribution via the company monthly newsletter, Intranet site, Salesforce Chatter, etc. Maintain all company IT security related documentation, including but not limited to cybersecurity policies and procedures, system security plans and documentation, annual internal audits, incident responses, client/vendor due diligence questionnaires (DDQs), authentication management plans, etc. Identify industry accepted technical security standards and the policies that drive compliance requirements. Contribute to research and analysis and translate security policy and requirements to define best methods and practices Provide technical guidance on implementation of security mechanisms and controls. Support senior team members in developing, maintaining, and improving secure systems including, for example, server/workstation and network device security hardening guidelines Participate in the preparation of project briefings and reports to IT and end-user management Maintain ongoing professional development/training. Dedicate time staying current on industry trends and available cybersecurity doctrine as workload allows Possess excellent customer service and communication skills Must be willing to work on call / after hours and occasional weekends when needed Perform other job-related duties as assigned EDUCATION and/or
Experience:
5-7 Years of experience in cybersecurity or network administration/engineering Preferred Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity or Information Systems with an emphasis in Cybersecurity Preferred Certification(s):
CompTIA Security+, Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA-Security), Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP), GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC) Experience in engineering, administering, securing and troubleshooting, maintaining, and upgrading a local area network of at least 250-300 nodes and a wide area network spanning across multiple geographically disperse sites Familiarity with Meraki firewalls, switches, and wireless access points; Cisco routers, firewalls, and Nexus switches; and Cisco AMP, Umbrella, DUO, AnyConnect platforms Demonstrated abilities in task/time management, including managing multiple projects and meeting strict deadlines Strong familiarity and experience with current network and IT security standards, protocols and certifications Proven experience in a medium to large, structured enterprise-class IT environment to include experience with formal budget cycles, change management and control procedures and disaster recovery/business continuation plans (DR/BCP) Financial Services or related industry experience a plus

Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
